AT HART: Fenny started volunteering at HART with her whole family more than a year ago and is getting to know the ins and outs of the organization. As a homeschooling mom of three teenagers, they can be found cleaning stalls, taking care of the never-ending to-do lists, trying to figure out how to streamline any process, or taking a riding lesson. Recently Fenny started to support the lesson program at HART and learning more about fundraising events.
OFF THE CLOCK: Fenny loves to spend time outdoors with her family and they are fervent travelers. When not at the barn or the beach, they can be found on the river sailing or kayaking, at the archery range, playing tennis, or biking around town.
BACKGROUND: Fenny was born and raised in The Netherlands and came to the US for graduate school. Her background is in International and European law and she has worked in international banking and consulting while living in different parts of the globe. Homeschooling her children for the last decade in different countries has provided a unique perspective on life and everything that comes with it.
Fenny and her family enjoy their summer stays out West at their favorite guest ranch and the long trail rides through the mountains. They try very hard not to be city slickers.
