Hidden Acres Rescue: Giving people purpose while providing horses a second chance at life
Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds (HART) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded to promote the physical and emotional healing and well-being of thoroughbreds that are retiring from the racetrack.
We do this by rehabilitating horses and providing them the skills, confidence, and nurturing they need for a successful and smooth transition into their second careers and forever families.
Horses Available for Adoption
Thoroughbreds can be successful show or pleasure mounts beyond the track. With proper training there are no limits to what these horses can do.
Many have excelled in hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing, competitive trail riding, liberty and more.
These highly athletic and intelligent horses have so much more to offer individuals that take the time to love and teach them.

Volunteers are the soul of Hidden Acres. We are dependent upon and very grateful to our volunteers who generously give of their time. We cannot function without volunteers helping every single day. Our volunteers are united by their passion for horses.

The ownership of this land will allow us to continue our legacy in the world of horse rescue, expand our programs and allow us to focus on much needed facility improvements.

Hidden Acres is located at 6360 Arborwood Ave, Cocoa, FL 32927. As you will see the name couldn’t be more descriptive.
Take exit 208 - Port Saint John Pkwy from I-95 N head East.
Port Saint John Pkwy will make a sharp right and turns into Golfview Ave.
Follow Golfview past Fay Lake Wilderness Park and turn left onto Corsica Blvd and then turn left onto Leonard Ave.
Follow Leonard Ave and turn right onto Aspen Ln.
The entrance to Hidden Acres will be straight ahead.
