Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds, also known as “HART”,  was founded in September 2011 to create a safe place for off-track-thoroughbreds (OTTBs) to go upon retirement.

Since receiving 501(c)(3) status and Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) Accreditation, HART has worked tirelessly to build a program that gives proper care (daily, nutritional, farrier, and veterinary) to horses in the program. HART has successfully adopted over 250 horses to happy and healthy homes.
