PHOTOGRAPHER/ FUNDRAISING/ MARKETING
At HART: Robin has done her share of mucking and feeding HART horses, but recently has been actively working with photographing and advertising HART’s rescues to help place them in their forever homes. She oversees the Instagram accounts for both the general equestrian updates and adoptions to further advertise our horses. She also helps with fundraising for specific campaigns at HART, graphics building, website maintenance, blogging, and Help A Horse Day events. Robin is a member of the HART Executive Committee. She has been with HART since April 2014.
Off the Clock: Robin and her family have been in Brevard County since 2002. She was a homeschool mom for sixteen years, but has recently moved into opening up her own photography business, photographing clients and horse shows. Her family also enjoys gardening, offshore fishing, and diving.
Background: Robin grew up on the backs of ponies as a child. She trained in basic equitation, hunter/jumper work to 2’6”, and later dressage. During her teens, she also owned a Tennessee Walking Horse. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, worked for five years with the USDA, both on the farm and in the lab, and worked for three years with the University of Alabama at Birmingham teaching hospital as an animal surgical nurse. She also showed boxers in agility in her spare time before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
